Student Access Center

The University of Kansas wants to ensure that students have all the tools necessary towards achieving their academic goals. At KU, the Student Access Center (SAC) assists students with disabilities by facilitating accommodations that remove barriers to their academic success. Accommodations can include accessible print and auditory resources, flexible attendance, exam accommodations, and notetaking help.

Students wishing to receive academic accommodations are encouraged to register with SAC as early as possible. The process broadly includes:

  • Registering with the SAC by clicking the red button that says NEW SAC Students.

  • Submitting documentation for review.

  • Meet with an Access Specialist once documentation has been reviewed.

You can review and register through the SAC's website: https://access.ku.edu/.
